S1jobs.com is by far the most popular jobsite in Scotland. It is operated by Newsquest media who produce over 200 newspapers, magazines and trade publications including the Evening Times and Scottish Herald. S1jobs is by far the most popular job board in Scotland and boasts an impressive 30,000 visitors a day with in excess of 4,000 live jobs, many of which are located in Glasgow. S1jobs also has an impressive career guide section of the website that includes CV and interview tips. They have an easy to operate search menu that allows you to select location, core skill, specialism and keywords. The advanced search allows a lot more functionality including full time or part time, salary range and contact or permanent.
STV jobs is operated by the STV Group, which also operates the television channel broadcasting to over 4 million people across Scotland every week. The search allows you to select location, sector, salary band, hours, contract and employer type. It’s very easy to operate and at the time of writing this article had over 400 jobs available in Glasgow.
